BUS
Kingston is the major Ulster Co. bus station -- Adirondack Trailways - NYC to Kingston
Points Northeast (W. Mass/Boston) can connect through Albany terminal
From the Kingston bus station (400 Washington Ave) to 389 Broadway,
is 1.7 miles, you can walk or take a taxi:

TRAIN
Metro North /Hudson Line- NYC- Poughkeepsie (from Grand Central Station):
(also FWIW, Amtrack stops in Poughkeepsie on the "Maple Leaf" or "Empire service" routes)
THEN take a UCAT bus from Poughkeepsie train station to New Paltz
(last bus is 8:30 pm) -- this bus is $1.75.
Ask to be let off near the New Paltz Trailways bus terminal (on Main
Street NP) There you can catch the Trailways bus to Kingston, which
runs about every 30 minutes Friday evening, 11:05pm is the last bus.
The bus to Kingston is $5.
From Kingston bus station you can walk or take a Taxi. (see above)
